Question timer trouble

For those of you with a turbo timer, here's one that's been stressing me out. I recently changed out the relay I had running my cooling fans and sine then my timer hasn't worked like it should. I'm figuring there's something wrong with the relay or how it's connected. However, it's wired in the same way the previous one was, so, I stumped on that one.
It'll still try to start the countdown but then it just kills. I've tried to disconnect the power, like resetting the computer. That had no change on things though. Even when the timer is turned off, it still acts as though it is trying to conduct a countdown. Now it could be a power surge and drain, which isn't a good thing in it's own way but I'm stumped for now. Does anyone have any ideas?
