Drifting in my area consists, of me and two other guys. thats it. nearest drift event is in englishtown coming up. Were deffinatly going to go but until then were stuck trying to find the safest places to practice. <Flame killer gun out>

I very much dislike how the east coast drifting scene is different from you guys in cali. There are so many uneducated people around here it's not even funny.

Example.

Saturday night I roll up to our local car spot/ parking lot whatever. Everyone crowds around my car and starts asking me questions. One guy's like "your a drifter right" I'm like "how can you tell?" Expecting him to comment on my flat black paintjob and mismatched wheels.

He goes into this long speech about how he drifted his civic on the highway at 3 am racing some prelude and how now he thinks it's so fun and he's so good at it.

You wouldn't believe what I hear everyday from people. they think just because they can pull their ebrake and get sideways for a half a second that they drift. I'm sick of it.

But there are a few people that respect the sport and are educated. the few that drive 240's go figure and apart from drifting itself being able to bs with them at night after going through a set of rubber is priceless

vent mode off

As far as D1 drivers I don't know em by name but by car.

My favorite's the guy who flew out to cali. I watched him in that new grip video. 180sx/s15. When he did that close 360 around the cone and into a turn I stood up lookin like a fool in front of my friends and was like "I can do that! I can do That!" lol
