If you're sure you've gotten all the hardware out, just start pulling, they're held on with that black tar/tacky material that's used to seal them on, it takes a little effort (and you'll need to get new sealant, or be REALLY careful and re-use the old seal, but I wouldnt recommend it).
They're on there pretty good with the elephant snot (black stuff), just work at it a bit.
