don't worry dude, functionality first. Those powder coated drum brakes and oem stock calipers may look pretty on some rice cars, but, hey, i doubt it would look as pretty after a crash.
i painted my z brakes red with some high temp engine enamel, its gotten dirty and chipped over time, but, who the hell cares. Z brakes will perform time after time no matter what they look like =)
plus you can always repaint them,
