not really
the important part isnt that deck, its the part under the window
the deck is just spot welded into place and removing it would be next tno difference
teh disadvantage of removing it is the trunk brackets are there to open/close the trunk (springs/arms)
that deck is useless
just keep thsi part:
the part right under the window. that has the support. the rest is useless.
