Then one day I was driving my car... I lit up a smoke like always, then just decided that I wasnt really enjoying it and it was doing nothing for me. So I tossed it out the window, threw away the rest of my pack, and havent touched a cigarette since. That was almost a year ago.
So I think it was just a matter of reaching that point where I was mentally prepared to let go of the habit. The first 3-4 days were kinda hard because I was having nicotine cravings but once it all gets out of your system its all just a mental game.
