The tach isn't that important, just rev the thing 3 times after the car is warmed up and check to see if your timing, if its not jumping around and close to 15 degrees then you know you got it in timing mode

any how with my mechanical timing set dead on, and using my jwt ecu , i cant turn the distributor far enough to reach 15 or even 20 btdc if i wanted to set the timing down there, hopefully leaving unplugged might have let it reset
I usually just pull the TPS as it's running, but it really doesn't matter, it will work either way if done right.

Umm, the JWT B13 ECU, Calum B13 ecu, and KA NA ECU of mine all have blue plugs...
