Actually, that's pretty much how Jason Statham makes a living.

I was a Van Damme fan back in the "Lion Heart", "Bloodsport" days. Now he's just lame. Every movie you knew you'd have to see his ass either nude, or in some overly tight fabric , plus you knew he'd do at least a dozen splits at random moments, and finish off the head bad guy with a series of jumping spin kicks to his face, while simultaneous doing a split in mid-air. I think the last movie he made that was still mildly entertaining was "The Quest".

Steven Segal, same thing. Every movie he was going to rip out someone's throat and throw it at somebody else in the room, causing the second person to recoil so violently, they fell to the ground. He would also use arm bar after arm bar to take out 30 guys at once. Then he would end the movie with a narrative in his annoying whisper of a voice and make us all believe in conspiracies by our Government and corrupt big businesses. He also runs like a girl.

Jackie Chan wins. More entertaining movies, better action, real martial artist. "Drunken Master" is still one of the best martial arts movies and it was made in 1978!
