Actually, this has not been discussed in public forum, only in the Premium Members section and Mod Corner.
"Rep" had to be put down like Old Yeller. We can draw the metaphor of people abusing the system as the rabies that caused them to have to put the dog down. Only difference is that no one on the staff cried as we put it down...
Trader rating is a replacement of sorts, but I am not yet versed on exactly how it works, so please wait on the announcement/discussion. One of us will explain and clarify it.
