Water pump bolts, clutch fan

Rather novice question...

I recently changed from an electric fan to a clutch fan on my 92 S13, and one of the bolts that hold the water pump pulley on broke while removing it. With the clutch fan attached there is not much thread available for the nut to grab. I haven't removed the water pump yet.

My question is two part: 1.) are the bolts easily replaceable or is it welded to the pulley itself? if so anyone know what size the bolts are? and 2.) is the proper way to attach the clutch fan with the stock bolts? or do most people replace them with a longer bolt.

thanks in advance for any assistance.
