you either have [chassis] or you have [model name] if you swap the engine or dashes you don't change the name of the vehicle so why would you if you swap body parts?

IMO the "sil80" "1-via" "s13.4" etc. are just nick-names for common conversions. Honestly I don't see any problem with using them because they're easy to say/type and people generally know what you're talking about. Similar to saying you have a "pig-nose" "chuki" or "kouki" it's easier to use the one short phrase that explains exactly what you mean than spelling it out every single time.

If you're doing a conversion that no one else has done before then you can call it whatever the hell you like. It's your baby... YOU name it.

Then again I'm the kind of guy who completely strips all of the badges off of my car and never gives them pet names so...
