It is possible. Just a hassle because you gotta deal with clearing the studs on the turbo and brake lines right behind it.
btw. I always install the elbow from the bottom and bolt it up and then bolt up the downpipe.
Also the bolts on the bottom of the elbow are gonna be a bitch to screw on.
