Did you mess around with the clutch pedal adjustment already? Extend the rod and that should raise the clutch engagement, assuming that the system is bled properly. Personally, I would adjust it first and get rid of the dampner box before I start buying a new master and slave cylinder.
Disconnect the hardline in the the dampner box and hand bend it gently towards the rubber line into the slave cylinder. Make sure you dont bend/crimp the hardline.
