This seemed to work except my speedo is floating around 10mph and flutters a little when I rev the engine and it drops to 0 when i engage the clutch. Anyone got any ideas?

Not at all, completely different. S13s do not have the wiper system incorporated into the engine harness, nor do they have anything ECU related in the lower harness.
