think about it this way, how much did you pay for your car and how much did your friend pay for his car.
My friend has a 94 5.0 with basic bolt ons and I drive it every once in a while, yes its a lot faster than my car, but he payed 11k for it last year, I bought my car for 4K, with that extra 7k i can make my car a lot faster than his is right now, by getting a swap of some kind.
But anyway back to the mustang, yea its fast, but it handles horribly, plus its a convertible, he has no suspension mods at all and you get above 50mph and you feel like you are going to lose control at any second, the car is so rigid at high speeds its rediculous, my mom's 4100lb SLS handles better than his car.
Personally i would never buy a mustang, because all they are is fast, they look ugly and handle bad.
The reason I mentioned it was that its relatively cheap from the factory (ie you can get the SVT cobra for less than the base model 350Z)
um.. SVT cobra starts at around 34k and the base model 350 starts at 26k so that's about a 8k diff between the 2, I don't see the cobra being cheaper. The highest 350 is about 35k compared to the cobra convertible which is like 40k.
