OP: question about the studs you're talking about that you broke... are they extended studs, or are they studs that are pre-pressed in on bolt-on spacers?

imo, since you said you're running thick spacers, I'd recommend keeping oe studs and getting bolt on spacers. I wouldn't really recommend getting extended studs with slip on spacers for anything longer than 15mm, especially if they're not hubcentric. Too much stress is placed on the studs, thus probably why you're breaking them.
