Im trying to install a short shifter onto my kouki that came with a replacement transmission that I bought. The problem is, the short shifter didnt come with the top metal part of it that the shift knob screws onto. So I need to take that part off of my stock shifter to put it onto the shorty. Can anyone tell me how to take this thing apart?
The part that I need to remove is the big metal peice on the right:
