^I've never unstood it either.. How can a Smart car be safer than a Jag or any other of the euro high MPG cars (especially the diesel variants of the cars we have here)?? I've seen crash tests of the smart and it does well and all especially for it's size.
It makes no sense. There has to be more than a "safety" issue...
