What year is it again? How many miles on the motor?? Any Check Engine Light on the dash?? Have you done any servicing to the motor recently?? Oil change, add fluids, fill up with gas.... anything??....Before you go start replacing anything you must first go thru the Checklist of Things To Check before you start throwing money away.
Your problem could be something like bad gas from the gas station, (very rare - but it does happen....another possibility is a pissed off girlfriend & something poured in the gas tank). Or it could be something like a vacuum line came off, or broke, or melted....a cheap & easy fix. It could also be a bad electrical connection or worn ground wire, a dying Mass Air Flow Sensor, a defective fuel pressure regulator...which CAN mislead people into thinking a fuel injector could have gone bad.
The best way to learn about your car and save yourself some money is to use the SEARCH function here on Zilvia.net & find a Factory Service Manual for your car. Download the FSM & read up on how to use your car's ECM / ECU (engine control module - the brain of your motor) to diagnose your engine problems. It's not always the answer, but it often points you in the right direction. If you can get your hands on a FSM and read the Diagnostic Trouble Code(s) that your engine is "kicking" & read them off your car, then we will have an idea as to where to start.
If you aren't able to locate an FSM, then go to Kragen or Autozone & have them read the codes off your car for you. Last time I checked they would do it for you for free. Once you do, post them here & we'll try to help you out.
Hope this helps...good luck!!
