No, they sold out by deciding to sound like and play like every other band out there. And the fans they developed... Ugh, don't get me started.

And I shit you not, thats a real conversation I had about a year ago with a friend of my cousin's after she saw AFI listed on my Winamp files.
That's not even an isolated thing... Thats how almost every fan of every one of these crappy bands is. This music is like a fucking cancer. It spreads throughout the music industry, sucking up good bands and turning them to mush.
And yes, Karl, I am aware that I look like Dexter from The Offspring. In fact, my nickname in high school was Dexter because of that. lol
