Picking locks is really easy actually.
from houses to cars.
Its all the same concept.
alot of people actually like to do it as a hobby or challenge and dont actually do it illegally.
In the video, he puts tension on the lock with that first piece he slides in. then you just have to push the "tumblers" up while maintaining tension.
just like a house lock, its pretty simple.
there are thousands of videos and how to's on youtube.

your car key is double sided and makes it a little more difficult. But older 240 keys are pretty universal.
maybe you should get newer locks off of some sort of Nissan??
that might help, cause I know me and half the 240 guys i know can open and start each others cars. lol
