an idea about replacing the fuel lines...

well a couple days ago I discovered that I have a rupture in the fuel line. So got quoted 600-700 to replace it. The reason for that is because they have to take off the diff. and the rear subframe. So I was thinking it would be eassier and cheaper to just not use the fuel lines themselves and just get a a fuel line kit w/ stainless stain braided hosing and then running them from the pump to the engine. I don't know either I should run it inside or outside the car.

do any of you guys see any problems with this set up?
