seriously, just learn how to pressure teh shit outta people.
With Ryu, Fireball, dash in, and Focus, be ready to dash again, or follow through.
WakeUp SRK's are really dumb, easily punished.
Regardless of who you're playing with/against, be ready for teh wake up throw. not too many people know how to do it right, but its spammed like crazy. Ever play an OichioThrowing Honda? Painful. Either jump up, or catch them first. WakingUp people have throw priority, so do it faster than them.
learning to combo into a Super is a bit of a challenge at first, but with Ryu/Ken/Shotokan guys, its a bit easier because the hit range is so damn present. Its harder with Abel, IMHO.
FADC's (Focus Attack Dash Cancel) are your new best friend. Absorb a hit, and immediately dash forward or back out of it. Your health will regenerate, just keep the pressure on.
If you wanna dominate on ranked matches, stick with Zangief. as the match starts, BanishingFist, cancel, SPD. Wash, rinse, repeat.
