Deja Vu??
I had that same problem yesterday, and had to get towed back to the shop. ****in 2" deep puddles!!
Anyways, remove your spark plugs, turn your key for a while, that should blow out any water in the cylinders. Also if you were trying to crank the engine for awhile, check the battery, it could need recharging, mine did. Then once you crank it for about 20 seconds, remove your intake piping and wipe out the throttle body as best you can. Then get some throttle body cleaner and spray it into the Throttle body. After you replace the spark plugs, leave the intake off and crank the car until you get a good start, the car should die after one full rev into the 5000s, oh while your starting it push the gas to the floor. /Once you get this good start, put the intake back on and bolt it up. The car should start fine now. Yes change the oil too. Also before you put the intake filter back on clean it thoroughly and let it air dry in the sun. I used a spray nozzle on my garden hose to clear out the dirt. Compressed air would probably be better if you got it. Well hope this helps.
Good luck.
Oh yeah, you're engine should be fine, unless you soaked up like a quart of water which is doubtful.
