The person whom told you to adjust the clutch pedal is correct. Check the Manual for your car to locate the adjustment. I had this same exact problem, and making the clutch pedal super soft/loose solved it. Make it super soft and it will build pressure and return to stock feel over 1 weeks time.

Don't drive your car as-is until the clutch pedal is adjusted or you will overheat and damage your clutch.
