That post was not an attack calm down, Yes I do know how the afc works and yes I've tuned a car before. 1 degree of timing can but most likely, not make a difference. No I'm not saying, that changing the airflow signal will not change timing. What i'm saying is that people repeat what they heard but don't fully understand.

The OP threadstarter, can use the afc to get his car running with the 550's and not flood his cylinders. Yes,he can drive the car and not waste a tank of gas in 24hrs
blowing his engine that can still happen, but he didn't ask for help with that.

1.My question for you is, do you think that every point you could possibly be in, in the map has a physical cell based on tp? Or does the ecu calculate when your between cells?
2.Which way does the timing go when you add fuel?
3.Can the afc trick the ecu into believing it's not there....when it is?

I'm not saying the afc isn't crap... I'm saying it works just as it's supposed too.

PS I'm not advocating the use of afc in fact I have a dyno graph with a dip in torqe because of the afc, but it's my favorite
It was zeroed out but the throttle percentage was still set and that's what I believed to be the problem, the next run was without the afc and dip was gone but i'm still not sure.
