Yeah, longer the lines to the wastegate are, the bigger/longer your boost spike will be. May be bad enough to blow holes in your pistons the first time, may take a few times.
if you like to change boost often for some ungodly reason, go spend a few hun on an EBC maybe? Or buy an adjustable wastegate. that's the best option imo.
