I'd suggest the B&M short shifter, or CosmoRacing short shifter. They are designed the same, v2 B&M has no vibration issue, and neither does the CR one.
The C's shifter, which you bolt in by the neck of the shifter plate, is okay at best. It does get a bit loose over time.

That is very true... the nismo solid shifter only cleans up the slop making it feel more solid which in some cases people feel like there is a reduction in throw but not really...
I currently have the B&M short shifter on my s13 coupe. Even with all the great remarks about it, it doesn't feel as smooth as a stock shifter and i often find myself forcing it to shift into gear. Not to mention the noise... but then again i still have the version one.
I personally like the smoothness of a stock shifter matched with a nismo GT shift knob and a brand new shifter bushing. For the price of a new B&M short shifter, I can afford to purchase 3 of these GT shift knobs and bushings. But i guess each person has their own preference when it comes to this.
