Myabe you can get JWT to re-tune your ECU for that>?  You might have to get stand alone fuel management.  That would be expensive as ####.  The stock 240 rear-end should hold up unless your REALLY gonna build the 302 up.  You should be able to push 350-400 hp on it with no problems.  What year 302?  Carbed? EFI? details on the specific engine you had in mind?
