Here's the thing:

putting an engine and tranny does not require adjustment of the clutch pedal...so most shops don't bother. if it drives, they just leave it. the pedal SHOULD be adjusted whenever work is done to the clutch system, however. it takes about 30 mins (your first time) to get it right and about 4 tools.
