I was thinking the same thing about the other 5 bolts is if it can hold in which i believe it should be ok. Maybe the model we got was a little mis aligned or something but o well. No problems so far but that shifter is amazing. Shifter is so short and precise also city driving is so much more fun. I give the B&M SS a two thumbs up!
