kandyflip445 -- I gave serious thought to that location, but it kills passenger footroom. I also took out the glovebox, but the hole was the wrong shape to fit it in there.
Bill Roberts -- I don't really want to use the spare tire well. I almost had to use my spare tire once, and feel safer with it there in the future. Oh, and water seems to find its way into there alot
(I guess my exterior duct tape isn't as water tight as I thought) I would love to just bolt it down in the hatch somewhere, but I have this perfect rubbermaid box that fits the hatch without sliding. I take that box on all long trips and to autoX, it has all my tools, fluids, jackstands, etc.
