Got the car back.
It was the slave cylinder indeed. Now the car at least runs.
My buddy sz the car needs:
- Valve Cover Gasket
- Exhaust Manifold Gasket (this is also missing one of the screws)
- One Rack & Pinion Boot
- Front Tie Rods
Those items plus a full tune-up and upgraded suspension/brakes and he says I should be worry free for a while.
Left the shop. Came home. Got to tuning. I did the following:
- Oil Change to Mobil Drive Clean 10w40w
- Denso Plugs on Bosch Wires
- New Cap & Rotor
- Fram Air Filter
Car feels better now but still desperately needing some work. I will be out of town until Monday afternoon & have less than $400 for the moment.
We can safely fix valve cover gasket & brakes, I have to ask if he can do tie rods himself and Im pretty sure I'll have to do the exhaust gasket/bolt & rack boot at his shop.
