Again...until you've owned one or lived with one...STFU. Any breed of dog can snap yes, training your dog the not to have aggressive tendencies will alleviate the chance of them doing so. My dog is 2 yrs old and fixed...let me emphasize on FIXED. She has never had an aggressive tendency, if I see her do anything, she is corrected on the spot. She never has growled at another dog nor bark unless she got startled. She doesnt "kill" her chew toys, she's trained not to stick anything in her mouth other than her toys, you stick your hand in her mouth, she'll automatically open up and push it out with her tongue.
