Sorry about your loss man. I myself have an english bulldog and a boxer, so i could only imagine how you feel if i lost either or. As for the people saying that pitts should be put down, you are all just a bunch of dumb asses, it's like what has been mentioned if trained properly and well kept these dogs won't attack but if trained wrong of course their going to attack. Truthfully the only breed i would never trust is a chow and that is because i have seen to many just turn on their owner for no apparent reason, my cousin being one. Again sorry for your loss and glad that the owner did the right thing but he still owes you for your dog
