On the weight issue, a guy I know took the power sunroof and all of its associated parts out of his '93 coupe and weighed it all, and got 40 lbs. Add about 2 (high estimate) lbs of sheet metal that would go in place of the sunroof, and you have just about a 38 lb diffence in weight. Not to metion that weight is at the highest part of your car, raising the CG.
