Of coarse you could aslo go w/ alot of o`ther stuff other than gauges. HKS makes a monitor system that will plug into any Screen, so if you have or get an in dash screen you could potentially use that to display your engine vitalss when you need to see them. Of caoarse if you're gonna put that much cash on it you might as well get a full stack cluster.

- I already have a dual gauge a-pillar pod
- replacing vents isn't an option
- glovebox is too far to glance over at, plus is filled with tools :/
- my TT is over the steering column already, it's only half an inch tall and it blocks my clock and trip odo, I can't imagine having a gauge there, that'd suck.

hence why I wanted to find something like the one in the image I posted, or drill into the dash... but that just scares me
