For fucking realz? come on... Aluminum VS rubber.... If you can get a nice bend, should be smoother therefore less disruptive airflow, but main deal is collapse during heat. Rubber heats and gets soft, air tunnel collapses causing turbulence or restrictive air. Also your stock ones has those dumb ribs for flexibility, but causes turbulence.
Secondly if aluminum, during the bends, there is smother transition from the straight areas, not so much of rubber....
