so the V mount is done. Now we can mock up the tubs making sure that all of the piping has clearance. Pulled the motor and everything back out.
Properly looped water line:
Gaping holeage...
I finally fixed the massacre to the fender that the previous owner inflicted when trying to do the r32 front end conversion.
Forrest started the tubs:
doing the grindings...
it helps when you rub it slowly and say nice things...
its 3 a.m. do u know where your right tub is?
next day back to the weldings...
stitch welding the chassis...
my first time making gussets. I have to confess to those that are wondering that dimple dies are even more addicting than weather pack connectors...
and then I made these to cover the travesty that was left after removing the battery tray, and cover the old FMIC holes with nice new thats right dimple died covers...
my other gussett...
all of the unnecessary holes in firewall and fender covered...
thats it for now, painting again today and then everything reassembled starting tomorrow after work.
