try heeltoing an s13 with size 14's. impossible!! sometimes shifting out of first i get my foot stuck behind the brake, and i backfired like crazy. oh wells

Have you tried sidestepping? I wear wide size 12 shoes, and that's all I can do at the moment. I'm going to get a cutaway wheel and some smaller shoes sometime, hopefully that will help.
