That is not true, the neo has different ecu pin layout, pistons, cams, pull style clutch, etc that you can't use in the S1 or S2. If I had to do it over again I'd get the neo over the R33 because it already has solid lifters and much more beefy rods. Finding a moderately priced clutch is a problem though you can convert to push.
