I went with a profile california series. less than a hundred dollars and has impeckable sound. second in our cars you only need the front speakers for high and mids the rear don't ad much to your system but alot of extra money and effort. lastly run your sub seperate so you dont get distortion from the amount of power it is drawing and always use a cap. with out one not only will your subs not perform for you but it will also blow your alternator, battery and most likely shorten the life of your amp and sub/subs. Sounds like a pitch I'd get at Circuit City. Blow your alternator? Don't need rear speakers in our cars? Who the hell told you that?
