It's a great link, but some of the guys were inquiring about a high idle and whether or not the IACV/AAC is the cause. Their questions were never answered. My car idles perfectly but if I tap the accelerator it will stay at a constant 1500 or 2000 rpms for about 5 seconds and then drop back to down to a perfect idle.
I took it to a mechanic and he said it needed an new IACV/AAC but it was gonna cost too much to have him do it so I thought I'd check online first.
Also, my check engine light pops on and off every so often, it doesn't matter if the car is hot or cold it comes on at random. Is this also a cause of a dirty IACV/AAC?
