no it doesnt... has its own harness
so hook up main harness and purple wire off of timer goes to vss yellow/green #52 wire
brown goes to ebrake assembly... you dont need it though for operation.... esp. if you dont always pull up your ebrake..
btw greddy has all this info on their site...
