But it's okay. Fatties are more prevalent in America because 1) food is cheaper and 2) the average meal contains way more calories than the stuff over here.

It is not that people in Europe eat less fatty food, to be honest most food over there is actually fatter. Naturally fat, as food is supposed to be. Eating a variety of everything; but in moderation; is a lot healthier than only eating gross non-fat/low-fat 'healthy' junk that America seems to be so saturated with. (I crave European dairy products)
People there just move a lot more. It is mainly a lifestyle difference. And being fat over there is not as socially acceptable, which I fully support.
If some of the people that I see at Walmart here would step out onto a street in Europe, everyone would stop and stare in disbelief, barely able to contain their laughter.
Whenever I go to Europe, it totally ruins girls here in Kansas City for me.
