You'd better try to piece the Sil front yourself to get cheaper price, just like I'm doing it now.

Now to you who trying to be as ass...I can care less how many post counts you have or whether you're a vendor here.
Most of the COMPLETE Sil fronts these days run for $850+. I know it because I'm in the market for one myself. (I know eBay links aren't allowed here but I'll try it anyway...just for example)

also, jhot imports of TX just sold one for $875 or so not too long ago. Panda Garage lists a few of these on its website for $950 EA. There is one down here in Hollywood, FL listed for $1200. One on Nico for $1100 located in AL. Of course, these are in better than "OK" shape and they are complete.
You might be able to source it piece by piece for the prices you mentioned but I bet not from the same place. Then you add another $150 for the front grille, corners and HL brackets on top of your $550 and now...ta da... we have $700. To be honest, I have never seen an OE hood cheaper than $145, regardless of the condition.
And, finally, yes people are ditching their sil fronts here and there these days, esp in this economy but not for a "mint" Chuki front + $200.
