ddf2006 is an unknown quantity at this point
ok well here is my rattle can
i did my hatch lke 3 weeks ago ans still need to clear coat but im waiting till i get the motor in first.
i used about 18 5oz cans of duplicolor import auto spray
the color is Graphite Grey Metalic
this paint an be picked up from any autozone or kragen (oreily) store
since my bro works at kragen i got all my paint half off
so in all i spent about 32$ on everything
after all the paint was done i wet sanded with 2000 grit sandpaper
and believe me, it got super smooth, almost fresh smooth.
so here goes the pics

i used the wrong base coat before doing the top coat so it came out kinda primer like, so i redid the base and top.

sanding and prepping the hood. making it nice and smooth

this picture is ugh, but this was before the hood got done and the bumper already painted

getting the lights all done up to atleast make it barable to look at lol

just a random pic before the hood and lights got done.

i absolutly love this picture, just looks so beast to me.
this is while i was prepping the hood to get painted.

after i put the hood back on, needed a few more coats, but still looks good.

after a few more coats on the hood and a flip of the lights.

got the doors done and nice and clean, kinda looks like primer though in the light. Cant wait to get the clear coat on

Got the QP panels done up and nice along with the trunk

THE BIGGEST MISTAKE COULD HAVE EVER MADE WAS PAINTING AT NIGHT. DONT DO IT. THE PAINT WILL NOT DRY PROPERLY AND WILL SHIFT IF TOUCHED, LIKE O SAY TAKING OFF TAPE AND ACCEDENTLY TOUCHING IT.
HERES THE OUT COME.\

this was a kinda easy fix though

this is with the car completely done, right after the wet sanding to make it super smooth.
