that's why you MUST use thread lock. if you dont, then you have no excuse for destroying the tie rods. there's a reason URAS gives you locktite when you buy their tie rods (i'm told)
i think the TEIN manual mentions it..not sure about JIC, i can check my friendsnext time...

I installed the Tein tie rods and I used the spacer instead of the lock plate. I read the instructions that came with the inner tie rods and Tein illustrated that either the spacer or lock plates could be used.
I posted that picture just to illustrate the importance of thread lock.
