Nissan had that Z commercial with the doll driving the toy car that picked up some Barbie-like chick, totally ruining the plans of some sweater-wearing yuppie. It was all done with the music backdrop, "You really got me."
yeah i remember that one. it was g.i. joe rappelling off a chest of drawers hopping into a Z32 convt racing across the hall to barbie's house. apparently ken wasn't hittin it right and joe's z made her all moist and stuff. i won $50 from a bet on that commercial about two months ago. the dude swore up and down it was a mazda commercial and i bet him. i emailed the nissandriven website to get verification. that was cool.
Anyone remember that? A classic, I say. A classic.
Actually, the more I think about it, Nissan still makes great commercials. I love their "Not that you would. But you could." series for the Pathfinder. And their "Everything you need. Nothing you don't" series for the X-Terra too. If it weren't so ugly, I'd probably like their Altima commercials as well.
