Last year we had over 20 participants all in which did not violate any traffic laws and conducted themselves with the utmost courtesy on public roads and highways.
Winning is not based on how fast you negotiate the checkpoints, it is about amassing points. Points are achieved many different ways and the driver with the most points (1st, 2nd, and 3rd places) wins. The check points are also how you acquire points. Again, its not how fast you get there, its if you can find them. Last years winner took home over $150.00 and his over all time was not the 1st, 2nd or even 3rd fastest time.
I think you are misunderstanding the event. I invite you and anyone else interested to our SDZ32 Club meet next week on Wed Aug. 11th 6:30 -9:30 at Miramar Speed Circuit and we can explain more in detail of the event.
Also Please feel free to contact me directly as I'll be happy to explain more on how the event works. It would be really great to have the 240sx guys come out and represent. Hope you still have interest in attending or participating.
